Alianza for Opportunity is dedicated to fostering thriving Latine/x, Afro-Latine/x, and Indigenous communities rooted in dignity, healing, and opportunity. Through narrative change, research initiatives, and grassroots mobilization, we work to dismantle systemic oppression, advancing racial and economic justice to drive transformative change.

At Alianza for Opportunity, we catalyze transformative change by addressing systemic barriers to opportunity and equity. We prioritize intersectional, intergenerational collaboration, amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. Guided by culture, community, and healing principles, we seek to foster thriving communities and empower individuals to reclaim their narratives, advocate for justice, and become agents of change. Through strategic partnerships, research-driven advocacy, and inclusive programming, we aim to create a more just and equitable society where all individuals can thrive.
OUR WORK
At Alianza for Opportunity, we are dedicated to addressing the complex challenges faced by Latine/x, Afro-Latine/x, and Indigenous communities across the nation. Our work is driven by a commitment to dismantling oppression and advancing opportunity. We approach our deeply intersectional issues in three main lanes: Economic Justice, Racial Justice, and Health Equity.
ECONOMIC JUSTICE
We create economic mobility and stability through lifelong learning, fair employment, and civic engagement for Latine/x, Afro-Latine/x, and Indigenous communities.
RACIAL JUSTICE
We dismantle systemic racism, advance racial equity through reforms, advocate for humane immigration, and amplify Latine/x, Afro-Latine/x, and Indigenous voices.
HEALTH EQUITY
We promote holistic well-being by addressing health disparities, environmental inequities, and social determinants, providing culturally appropriate, trauma-informed care.
